7 months

 Hello fam and friends

Just here chilling in leon (my New área/ leather and shoe capital of the world) and its been great! There is a TON of work to do here and every day I've been absolutely exhausted haha but it's the mission grind for sure and a busy missionary is a happy missionary! It doesn't help tho that I loveee my companion so it's hard to stop talking and actually go to sleep at night after all the hard work haha but she's great and its made the work fun too! We teach and work together so good! Also we are 2 white sisters that stick out like a sore thumb here but its great- my comp is literally 6ft tall too so it's funny!  This week was great but oh so busy and I don't have time to write more but love you all and I hope to hear from you all if you have a sec to write!

Another Great One

 Holaaaa

This week was another great one! To start it off we had divisions and I was with Hna Rodriguez and she is honestly one of the nicest, most genuine people I have met so it was so fun to get to know her! It was honestly also really nice to be living with a Mexican for 2 days to work on my Spanish 100% of the time again! She taught me a lot and I'm grateful for the experience!

This week we also had a tonn of success finding and teaching people 😊 Teaching a guy named Mario this week we had a superrrr good lesson full of the spirit and I felt impressed to ask him if he wanted to follow the saviors example and be baptized and he was like YEAH, I was just thinking that I needed to be baptized! I know everything you guys are telling me is true! can I get baptized this week?? 😎 He's super cool and it's really humbling to know that God is preparing people to hear this awesome gospel message, and not only helping them get ready, but helping me every day too in literally every aspect. Also seeing so many people here with literally nothing, still being so grateful to God for what they have and wanting to share the little they have with me, I feel so humbled and grateful! Sharing the gospel brings me pure joy and I am just overflowing with gratitude this week and counting my blessings!

On top of a bunch of great lessons this week we also had a lot of bomb food, a lot of laughter (I'm really enjoying my time w my comp), and some occasional screams from GIANT black spiders in our house lol. I guess when I pray for spiderman God only hears the spider part? ;)

Anyways life is reallyyy good! The other day I was walking down the street (after we had a bombbb lesson) with literally perfect weather, the smell of street tacos in the air, the distant sound of someone's music and a ton of cute street dogs and I thought "wow I'm in freaking Mexico and this is so rad! I don't want to be anywhere else in the world" and it's true, there's no place I'd rather be in the world. Jurica Querétaro México is right where I'm supposed to be and I am SO happy here!

I hope you all know that you can find happiness every day of your life through Jesus Christ. Trust me every day of the mission is not always fun but I have been able to be SO happy this week bc even in the hard moments I just try to see God's hand in my life and when I look, it's not hard to find! It always puts a smile right of my face when I see him helping me along. I challenge you all to do that this week. Look for God's hand and you'll realize how much he really does for you day to day. If you have a hard time seeing his hand, ask him for help and he would love to help you! I promise you all that if you make an effort to see the lords hand your hearts will be full of gratitude and your burdens will feel lighter!
