Killer on the Loose!

Hahaha hey everyone! This week was a very interesting but good one! I just finished my first transfer here in León and I'm SHOCKED at where the time went!! For real the fastest 6 weeks everrr!! Starting the week off was rough bc I had food poisoning but after a few days I started to eat kinda normal so blessings:) This week was my last week with my comp because she's done with her mission so we worked our butts off to end our time together strong! We honestly saw a lot of miracles in this last week so I'll share:D

-milagro 1- we were looking for a member and knocked a door and it wasn't the person we were looking for but we said we were missionaries and shared messages about Jesus Christ and asked if they were interested (this is the part in the story people normally say "sorry no I'm catholic" and shut the door Haha) BUT to my surprise she said "yeah i would love that, come on in" and she let us in and it was awesome!! we had the spirit SO strong with us and she cried in our lesson and said she's been looking for God and we taught her how to pray and it was so special!! She has soo much potential and it's crazy how God puts trials in people's lives to humble them and help them look for God. She has a big surgery today to remove a cancer tumor so please keep her in your prayers she's so amazing and I'm so glad we found her and have helped her have some comfort in her trials this week!

-milagro 2- we set a date for baptism with Regina this week and she's getting baptized Saturday!! Funny story though setting this date🤣🤣 so we met up in a park with her bc it was close to her work and she had a lunch break and anyways were sitting in this park and I have my Bible open and I was sharing a scripture and this little kid comes up and goes "amigaaaaa" and hugs our investigator then puts his nastyyy literal black slime fingers on my open Bible hahahaha love that then he looks up at me and he's like "why are you speaking English" and I was like "do you know english" and he said no, and I said "and do you understand what I'm saying" and he was like yeah, and I looked at him straight in the eyes and said "well then I'm obviously speaking Spanish" and he was so confused why a white girl was speaking Spanish but it was SO FUNNY! turns out he was some rando that none of us knew and regina turns to me and goes "México mágico" and I lost it laughing. She's so cool and when I invited her to be baptized her eyes welled up with tears and she said there is nothing she wants more! I'm so happy for her!!

-milagro 3- a golden investigator that we used to have ghosted us a while back and he reached out this week out of the blue and wants to learn and work towards baptism and it was just such a good surprise!

-milagro 4- this weekend I was without a companion (because Saturday my comp left for Queretaro to have her final interview and stuff in the mission before her flight today) and anyways I was working the whole area by myself with lots to do. I wasn't "by myself" because you can't just do that on a mish so I've been staying at the house of the other hermanas here in León. This means I'm 5th wheeling and it was  bit stressful because I had to go where they needed to go to have someone with me but still take care of my área and steal one of them for my calls and stuff. Well we didn't know how we were going to make it work going to my ward and back for their wards for church yesterday but I prayed that God would help me get people to church and help get me to my ward and let me just say I saw miraclesss! It worked out for me to go to my sacrament meeting and we had 5 friends end up coming and loveee it!! Having 3 missionaries there was a blessing too with 5 different investigators who needed help and Ahh it was so so good! when you do all you can and put it in the lords hands he'll provide!

These are just some of the miracles we saw this week but wow I'm so grateful!

Well we got news of cambios this transfer and I'm staying here receiving hermana Castro (who is entering her last 6 weeks too) so I will be "killing" her off too! I'm turning into a missionary serial killer haha apparently but it's all good! I'm a little nervous but very excited for the chance I have with her because she's one of the best missionaries in this mission and I can learn a lot!!

Well that's about all this week, sorry it was a little long haha! Enjoy this week and go hug your family and take your dogs on a walk for me :))
