Be more like a duck

This week flew by, honestly can't believe it's been a full week...This week we were all over our area and saw a lot of tender mercies! It's cool to look around and see God's hand everywhere 😎 we found some super solid people to teach this week from THEM coming up and just starting to talk to US. At the store one morning to buy some eggs, a guy came up and just started telling us he had seen us a couple times and felt like he needed guidance from us, well from God. He said he didn't know his purpose in life and wanted us to tell him. It was super cool and he was super touched by the plan of salvation! Another time this week a girl came up and asked me about a bus stop and noticed my tag and asked me about it. We started to chat w her and turns out she lives one street away from us and wants us to teach her more! She's our age and I'm super excited to teach her! It's cool being able to share the gospel with people the same age because I feel like I can share life experiences with the gospel and they can relate more! I'm excited for her:)

We also started teaching a couple other people this week who are super ready for the gospel. It touches my heart that God is preparing so many people, perfectly, to hear the gospel! This week there were so many lessons that I felt the spirit so strong, and it made me feel so much love for these people and see them with the potential that God sees in them. it made me just want to feel that spirit every day and see people how God sees them more. I was reading in "the infinite atonement" this week and it talks about how each and every one of us has the potential of becoming like our Heavenly Father. We are not only his children but we have the potential to literally become like him, GODS. Isn't that so cool? Literally every single person we see has that potential, thanks to the plan God has for us. I invite each of you to try to see the people around you more like God sees them. Doing that this week really changed my heart and made me more motivated to LOVE everyone. We don't get to pick and choose who "deserves" our love and forgiveness. God asks us to love everyone and forgive everyone freely. With that perspective this week I noticed myself a lot happier and I didn't let things get to me, and just wanted everyone to have the love and happiness that the gospel brings!

This week talking to my comp she said that i was like a duck... a little confused I asked how? and she told me that I don't get angry with people or hold things against them, I just let things roll off my back like water off the back of a duck lol. She said she wanted to be more "ducklike" like me😅 Every time she got angry or bugged at something this week I'd just draw a duck and it made her laugh and get over things. It's such a simple choice to let things get to us or not, but it makes all the difference. it made me see how much I've changed on the mish, and how now some things just aren't important. Why let someone else ruin your happiness? we LET a lot of little things affect us and our happiness. I'm definitely not perfect with these two things (I'm still working every day haha) but really if we live our life with these two things, I know we can live with SO much more happiness. I invite all of you to 1- try to see people how God sees them and 2-let things roll off your back. Choose to not get bugged, angry, and choose to be happy! Really try to do these things and I promise you'll note a difference in your life!  :))

Anyways I hope you all had the best week and you have another good one! Hbd shout out to Maddie and AJ this last week, love you guys!
